I decided to take Sunday off from blogging (though I could have used the distraction). Sunday was my hardest day so far. All day I was craving a tuna fish sandwich. I don't know why but I was. Anyway, I made it through the day without cracking and I was glad I did. I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 7 pounds total in the last week. I feel really good about that and that my struggle hasn't been in vain.
Going back to work today actually made things easier. I was busy all day and had little time to think about food. I had a ton of things to do after work so I didn't even get home until 6:30 pm. This week I've begun incorporating exercise. Yesterday I did 100 crunches and today I walked on my treadmill for 35 minutes (1.5 miles).
Breakfast:
1 Fuji apple
Lunch:
1 1/2 cups homemade veggie soup
Dinner:
Salad with cucumber and a little Italian dressing
I've been thinking about how things are going to go after I'm done with this diet of fruits and veggies is over. Obviously I don't want to slip back into old eating habits and I don't want to instantly gain back all of the weight that I've lost. I bought a 6 week membership to the Memphis Adventure Boot Camp. It is a 5 day a week, one hour a day boot camp for women. They also include diet counseling and meal plans so hopefully this will help me keep the weight off.
I didn't think I had the will power to make it through my first week but I did (and not to gloat) but I'm proud of myself.
One week down.
